Open Orchestra is a group in which children with SEND from the age of 8 to 18 learn to play an instrument, including the Clarion (an award winning accessible musical instrument that can be played independently with any movement of the body including the eyes) within a group, through well-known classical pieces. No experience of an instrument needed, although a willingness to learn to play one is helpful.
Parents/carers are welcome (and encouraged) to sit in the session with their child.
