The air we breathe affects our health, so the air quality inside our homes is really important.
Indoor air quality monitors can help us to understand our indoor air quality and take simple steps to breathe cleaner air.
The sensor measures some of the common types of air pollution found indoors. It will calculate a score for your indoor air quality called an Air Quality Index.
Borrow an air quality monitor
Complete our online form to borrow an air quality monitor. We will try to contact you within 10 working days to arrange your loan.

Returning the monitor
You must return the monitor and all accessories at the agreed date, time and location.
Unfortunately, we are not able to extend your loan period beyond 4 weeks.
Using the monitor
Air quality monitors are intended to be used in your home.
You should place the monitor in the main room of your home where you spend most of your time. Plug it into a power supply and leave it switched on for the duration of your loan.
The monitor will give you real-time information about the quality of the air you are breathing.
After your loan has been agreed, we will send you a guide with more information about using the air quality monitor.
The air quality readings and any data you collect during your monitor loan are for information and educational purposes only. We are not able to take any enforcement action or carry out remedial measures on the basis of air quality monitor loan data you choose to share with us.

You may be liable for loss or damage to the air quality monitor and this could be for the full cost of the equipment.
