Most people can change their details in their Camden Account, in the ‘Parking permits’ section. We cross-reference using supporting documents such as deed poll, council tax statement and DVLA V5 document, so you may need to send us new supporting documents.

Registration (birth, marriage and civil partnership certificates)
In most instances you cannot change the name and sex recorded on a birth certificate.
If in the first 12 months you give your child a different forename/names, you can apply for a space 17 Certificate of Name Given In Baptism or Certificate of Name Not Given in Baptism.
If you had intended to call your child something else, you may be able to make a correction to the birth certificate.
There are fees for making changes to certificates.
If a child's parents marry or enter into a civil partnership or the father's name needs to be added to the certificate, you can apply to re-register the birth.
Amendments can be added to certificates if you change your gender and have a Gender Recognition Certificate. Amendments are added as a note in the margin of the entry and you'll be able to order new certificates once the process is completed.
To request an amendment, you need to complete the correction form and post it with your evidence (or certified copies of your evidence) to:
- Camden Registrars, Camden Town Hall, Judd Street, London, WC1H 9JE
If you have any questions, email crs@camden.gov.uk.
