Houses and flats above shops have specific bin collection days. Find out when your recycling and rubbish will be collected if you live in a house or a flat above a shop. 

Houses  

If you live in a house, or a house divided up into flats, please leave your bins out by 7am on your collection day.

We're improving our garden waste collection service, which means your garden waste collection day maybe different from Monday 7 April 2025.

Flats above shops 

If you live in a flat above a shop, your collection date and time will depend on the street that you live on.

Christmas and New Year collections

Some recycling and rubbish days will be different over the festive period. 

Collections on Thursday 25 December and Friday 26 December will take place two days later than usual. 
If your usual collection day is:     

  • Thursday 25 December, your collection will be on Saturday 27 December
  • Friday 26 December, your collection will be on Sunday 28 December

Collections on Thursday 1 January and Friday 2 January will occur one day later than usual. 

If your usual collection day is:

  • Thursday 1 January, your collection will be on Friday 2 January
  • Friday 2 January, your collection will be on Saturday 3 January

Collections return to their normal schedule from Monday 5 January.
