Curnock Estate action plan

Our Neighbourhood Housing Officers are working hard to address the issues and priorities on your estate. We are using this opportunity to update your estate action plan.

Antisocial behaviour (ASB) and CCTV

You said:

  • ASB was an issue on the estate
  • Lack of CCTV

We did:

  • Put regular patrols by Community Safety Officers in place along with the use of redeployable cameras
  • Fitted Gerda covers to entrances to communal areas to prevent unauthorised access
  • Upgraded CCTV on the estate
  • Trialling method of ASB reduction

Cleaning

You said:

  • The estate could be cleaner

We did:

  • Arranged for hardstanding spray with grass cutting and shrub reduction to take place September 2024
  • Displaying the caretaker's rota in communal areas

Lighting

You said:

  • Lighting on the estate could be better

We did:

  • Lighting monitored monthly and it is being upgraded to LEDS
