Camden in Bloom

Camden in Bloom, the borough’s annual gardening showcase, is now open for entries.

There are six separate categories this year:

  • best front garden - this could be a front garden of any size, balcony or window box
  • best food growing – share the story of your shared food growing project
  • best community garden – show us what you’re growing in your local park, communal housing, or community centre
  • best nature garden – for communal gardens with a focus on biodiversity and wildlife
  • Camden young gardener – any green-fingered Camden resident under 10 can enter
  • Sheltered Housing Volunteer of the Year – for residents of Camden’s sheltered housing, nominate who you think is your star volunteer gardener

The winners of the categories will be chosen by the judges. All you need to do to enter is send your photos and a brief description of your garden / group by email to: camdeninbloom@camden.gov.uk.

Thanks to our sponsors Camden Garden Centre, Veolia, idverde, and the British Library, the winners of each category will receive a Camden Garden Centre voucher, and an additional prize.

The competition is now open and will run until 31 August.
