You can visit the library to browse and borrow books, use our public computers, or find a quiet place to study.
There’s no need to book in advance. PCs are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with a two-hour daily limit. You can also scan, print and photocopy documents.
View our Public Computers Policy (PDF) and our Wi-Fi Policy.
You can return books, DVDs or CDs on loan within the opening hours.
We also offer a range of activities for our library users. See what's on this month.
Library of Things is moving
We’re relocating Kilburn Library of Things to Swiss Cottage Library as part of improvement works at Kilburn. The new location means even more people can rent household, gardening or DIY tools and appliances rather than buying new.
You can still borrow from Kilburn Library of Things until late August. All items must be returned by Friday 22 August.
As a thank you to our Kilburn borrowers, you can use 20% off your final bookings with the code THANKYOUKILBURN. Reserve your item online, pick it up and return when you're done.

Contacting the Council at your local library
Courtesy phones have recently been reinstated in all Camden Libraries except Pancras Square Library where residents can speak with a team member at Contact Camden. This means you can speak with someone and complete tasks by using the phone at the library. Ask the library team if you need assistance.
Displaying posters and flyers
The library displays posters to promote local events and services. Our Community Information Policy outlines the criteria used when deciding whether to display a particular poster.
What to do if you have an idea for an activity or event
We would like to hear from you if you have an idea for an activity or event that you could help organise. We will welcome your idea and discuss this with you to see if it's something we can support you to deliver in the library space. There is also Camden Giving if you think your idea needs some resources.
