You may be able to receive:
- free SIM cards from O2, Vodafone, or Three
- access to mobile data, minutes, and texts – free for up to 12 months
- help setting up your phone or device, if needed
Who can get a free SIM
You could qualify for support if you:
- are 18 or over
- have limited or no access to the internet at home
- can’t afford your current mobile data plan or device
- receive benefits or have a low household income
How to apply

Join the Good Things Foundation Databank
If you're part of a local organisation that works with low-income residents at risk of digital exclusion, by joining the National Databank, your organisation can help provide free mobile data, calls, and texts to residents who would otherwise struggle to get online – supporting them to access vital services, connect with others, and take part in everyday digital life.
This opportunity is ideal for community groups, charities, and voluntary organisations that work directly with people facing data poverty. As a Databank partner, you’ll be able to distribute SIM cards and support people in setting up and using their data.
To take part, your organisation will need to:
- join the Online Centres Network
- complete a short application to access the National Databank
