Hostel resident wifi

To use the wifi in our hostels, there are 3 steps you need to take. Wifi is currently available at Levine and Abbots Hostel.

1. Ask for an account

To use the wifi, you need an account, with a username and password. Speak to the staff in the hostel office and ask them to set up an account for you. You'll need an email address to do this.

You'll be asked to read and sign an Acceptable Use Policy, which will tell you what you can and cannot do while using the wifi.

2. Find your account details

When your account has been set up, you'll be sent an email from noreply@meraki.com. This will have your new username and password in.

Do not share these details with people outside your family unit. Be mindful that you share this wifi capacity with other residents.

3. Connect to the wifi

Go to the settings on your device (such as mobile phone, laptop, tablet or gaming device). Look at the available wifi networks and select 'Resident'. You'll be asked to enter your username and password - use the details in the email.

If you need any help finding your account details or connecting a device, speak to the staff in the hostel office.

You can change your password by following the 'manage your account' link in the email.
