The housing allocation scheme explains who can apply for social housing and how we assess these applications. 

There is a high demand for affordable housing in Camden. Rent is high and over 8000 households are on our social housing register. Last year we let 643 properties of which 60% were studio or 1-bedroom.  

Unfortunately, most applicants will not receive a social housing offer. 

Before you apply to join the housing register, explore your housing options.
