Camden's housing asset management strategy 2025 to 2030 sets out a £670m investment plan in current homes over the next 5 years.

Core aims

The core aims are to:

  • meet all regulatory requirements
  • secure resources for long-term investment
  • increase the number of high-quality homes and meet priority housing needs
  • address properties requiring unsustainable investment through the Quality Homes programme

Expected outcomes by 2030

By implementing this strategy, the Council expects to:

  • complete all fire risk actions and anticipated Building Safety Case File works
  • work towards compliance with the Decent Homes standard
  • make crucial investments in communal heating and other mechanical and electrical systems
  • address capital repair works that put homes at risk of disrepair
