Camden's housing asset management strategy 2025 to 2030 sets out a £670m investment plan in current homes over the next 5 years.
Core aims
The core aims are to:
- meet all regulatory requirements
- secure resources for long-term investment
- increase the number of high-quality homes and meet priority housing needs
- address properties requiring unsustainable investment through the Quality Homes programme
Expected outcomes by 2030
By implementing this strategy, the Council expects to:
- complete all fire risk actions and anticipated Building Safety Case File works
- work towards compliance with the Decent Homes standard
- make crucial investments in communal heating and other mechanical and electrical systems
- address capital repair works that put homes at risk of disrepair
