Support we can help you access

You can choose what you want to talk about, whether it’s just one topic or a few things that matter to you. Here are some of the things we can help you to access:

Community and connection

  • joining activities or groups to meet new people and feel more connected
  • starting flexible volunteering opportunities, including roles that offer adjustments and support for people with health conditions or disabilities

Education, work, and travel

  • starting training or education that suits your pace and interests
  • exploring gentle first steps toward work, if and when you're ready
  • finding out about travel options and help with transport costs (including Blue Badge, Taxicard, and accessible transport)

Health and wellbeing

We are not health experts so we cannot provide medical advice, but we can help connect you to trusted services that support your physical and emotional wellbeing, such as:

  • taking up exercise that feels manageable and inclusive
  • helping connect with emotional wellbeing support such as Talking Therapies

Money and benefits

  • money worries – struggling with the high cost of living
  • benefits issues – like claiming everything you're entitled to, or questions about recent news stories on health benefits
  • debt issues – help if you're behind on bills and worried about what to do next

Daily life and home

We are not housing experts and can’t provide housing advice or support with repairs. But we can help you find the right services to support your daily life, including:

  • making the inside of your home safer and more accessible, like handrails or other adaptations
  • getting support with caring responsibilities
  • exploring affordable childcare options
  • getting help with daily tasks like cooking or household chores
