Vacant spaces

We're seeking innovative ideas to repurpose locations such as undercrofts and garages in 9 vacant spaces across the borough.  

We are excited to invite you to become part of our Vacant Spaces programme. We’d like to hear from: 

• businesses 
• social enterprises 
• community organisations  

Why we are doing this 

This initiative supports Camden’s mission that “by 2030 residents on our estates have the same levels of health and wellbeing as others in the borough” by reimagining spaces for local enterprise, social value, and resident wellbeing.  

How it will work 

To test the Vacant Spaces cross-funding model we are inviting expression of interests for a 750m2 underutilised former covered car park site on Eagle Street.  

We are interested in proposals that maximise the commercial use of the site whilst being sensitive to the local context. Proposals should activate the space to unlock benefits for the local and wider communities.

You must send this by 5pm on Monday 19 May
