West End Sidings Estate action plan

Our Neighbourhood Housing Officers are working hard to address the issues and priorities on your estate. We are using this opportunity to update your estate action plan.

Illegal parking

You said:

  • Illegal parking on the estate was an issue

We did:

  • Arranged for West End Sidings to be part of the first phase of Traffic Management Order implementation to address illegal parking

CCTV and lighting

You said:

  • CCTV and lighting on the estate could be improved.

We did:

  • Works were completed back in May 2022, all areas on the Estate were noted and covered where feasible at the time, except for a couple areas that would have caused light pollution to some of the residents if extra lighting was fitted.
  • Estate is part of CCTV upgrade project

Antisocial behaviour (ASB)

You said:

  • ASB on the estate needs be addressed.

We did:

  • Put regular patrols by Community Safety Officers in place along with the use of redeployable cameras.

Cleaning

You said:

  • Estate could be cleaner

We did:

  • Arranged spot treatment and weeding works for September 2024 and April 2025
