Fire action notices  

Fire action notices explain what to do if there’s a fire in your block. They’re blue and found on the walls in communal areas.

You should make time to read your fire action notice as they tell you: 

  • how to leave your building safely 
  • what to do if you hear a fire alarm 
  • whether you should stay in your flat, or evacuate

We’re collecting information from residents with disabilities or health conditions who may need help to leave their home in an emergency, such as a fire. Find out how to get help to leave

We may also complete a Person-Centred Fire Risk Assessment. This helps you understand and reduce the risk of fire. It can also identify any support or equipment you might need.

The London Fire Brigade gives a fire safety session for children aged 5 to 7, including how to:
